Mother of Pearl
A complete process from collecting the raw mother of pearl shells (originated from all the seas and oceans of the world) to producing the final product.
The mother of pearl is one of the most noble and precious material for buttons and jewelry accessories.
Since 1983, Tanacrex is using its know-how transmitted by the last french handscraft/button maker and makes beautiful and unique pieces.

Wood & Coconut
From tropical woods and palms, these raw materials are selected in the respect of the environement and transformed into a finished product.
Horn
These materials are subject to norms of hygiene and protected species. We mostly select horn coming from cows and zebus from Madagascar.
Corozo
Known as tagua or "vegetable ivory", the corozo is an excellent natural material which has an unique natural grain. One of its specificity is its excellent durability and scratch resistance. Corozo Buttons are very elegant and frequently use by our clients.
